Camelia Minoiu is a Research Economist and Policy Advisor at the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Before joining the Atlanta Fed, she worked at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the International Monetary Fund. Camelia's research interests are in the areas of financial intermediation and international finance, with a focus on banks. Her work emphasizes the critical role of the financial sector in the transmission of macro policies--including monetary and macroprudential policies - to the real economy. Camelia's work has been published widely, including in the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial ¹û¶³ÊÓƵ, and the Review of ¹û¶³ÊÓƵ and Statistics.
