Survey Questions
The Survey on Sustainability and Consumer Finances (SUSY) is an initiative started in 2022 to collect survey data on opinions, beliefs and expectations about the climate and household finances in Sweden. The monitor is updated annually and will continue to expand with new topics and themes.

The initial aim is to collect three representative panels of Swedish citizens in working-ages of 18 to 65. The overarching aim of the project is to provide researchers with detailed data on views and expectations about climate and personal finances that can be matched to various other data sources on economic decisions and outcomes to increase the understanding of individual decision-making. The surveys also track changes over time by following up with participants from the previous year’s survey.
The surveys are administered by Statistics Sweden (SCB), who also maintain the data base. The data is anonymized, and researchers are only able to access unidentified data through a mainframe server provided by Statistics Sweden (MONA, Microdata Online Access).
SUSY is currently funded by Vinnova (the Swedish Agency for Innovation Systems), along with significant in-kind contributions from private and public companies that provide data for analysis.
